Confirmed Activities: Florida
Tuesday 3rd October 2017:

Afternoon/Evening: Once settled into the villa, we plan to order pizza and have a pool/pizza party.
Wednesday 4th October 2017
All day: Theme Park - Disney's Epcot
Change in Itinerary: Due to the Disney ticket increase, we have had to change to a 1 park ticket. We have chosen Epcot as it has the best mix of ‘Disney’, rides, restaurants and other activities.
Food in the park: Pupils’ will be allowed freedom in the park but will have scheduled meeting points every few hours. Pupils will be issued with money to purchase their own lunch and dinner, at times of their choosing; pupils are responsible for their own snacks.
There is a wide range of choice for food (from burgers and chips, pizza and hot dogs to Chinese food in the China pavilion in Epcot, Mexican food and even fish and chips!) You can view the menus on the Disney website by clicking here and filtering the options to show ‘Epcot’ as the location and ‘counter service’ under the ‘dining experience’ tab.
There are water fountains throughout the park and free ice water is available at many dining locations. Pupils can bring their own snacks purchased elsewhere into the parks.
Things to do in the park: The main roller coaster attractions are Mission: Space, Soarin' and Test Track, all in Epcot. Of course, there is an awful lot to do besides roller coasters and for those interested in meeting Disney Characters then there are many opportunities to do so; there are also rides which aren't thrill rides and are just as much fun.
There is an area called the 'World Showcase' which doesn't contain any thrill rides but has a number of 'lands' which are mini-replicas of key features from certain countries (the world showcase currently includes Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Morocco, Italy, US, Japan, France, the UK and Canada). Each area has shops selling goods from these countries, traditional foods and entertainment e.g. drummers in Japan, belly dancers in Morocco etc. as well as interesting architecture. For example, in France you can have your picture taken in front of the Eiffel Tower and in China in front of a brightly coloured temple.
You can find out everything you need to know about attractions and rides, characters and dining by clicking here and narrowing the search options to Epcot
Capturing memories: Pictures with Disney characters are FREE. There are Disney 'PhotoPass' photographers all around the Parks. They will take your picture for free, with the hope that you will then need purchase a copy of it online. HOWEVER they will also happily take a picture on your mobile phone for you at the same time so have your phones handy and take advantage of the photographers as it's a fab way to get group pictures throughout the parks.
We'll end the day by watching the fireworks in Epcot park.
